IME Foundation starts relief mission, donates 8400 kgs of rice, 500 blankets and other relief materials
IME Foundation has launched relief mission to provide relief materials to districts which have been affected severely by the Earthquake that shook the nation on 25th April, 2015. In the process, IME Foundation has donated 8400 k.g. rice, 500 blankets, 100 cartoon noodles, torches and other relief materials. IME Foundation team comprising of Executive Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Executive Director Hem Raj Dhakal went to Sindhupalchok and provided 5800 kgs of rice, 200 Blankets and other relief materials to more than 200 earthquake affected families of Majhigaun VDC. Similarly, the team also visited the Melamchi Army Camp (Bhimkali Gulma) and handed over 2600 kgs rice, 300 blankets and other relief materials including noodles and torch light to Major Prem Hamal and Police Inspector Chandra Bahadur Thapa for the earthquake victim families of Shikharpur VDC. The company plans to visit more affected areas with such relief materials in the days to come.
IME Foundation has separately set up a relief fund in the name of ‘IME Earthquake Relief Fund’ under IME Foundation in which Co-founders of IME Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Mr. Hem Raj Dhakal have donated a sum of NPR 2 crores in aid of the quake victims.
